A Batch of History and Stories
Maison Saint-Gabriel, historic site and museum
From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., an animator will be baking fresh bread in our wood-fired oven. The loaves, straight out of the oven will be available for purchase in the shop on a first come, first served basis. The first batch will be ready between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.
Our bread‑baking session will conclude with a storytelling performance by François Lavallée, who will weave together the gardens, the bread, and the unique history of Maison Saint‑Gabriel. Attuned to the setting and the shared moment with the audience, the storyteller will guide listeners into a world where time blurs, captivating participants of all ages.
