Urban Beekeeping Workshops

Maison Saint-Gabriel, historic site and museum

It's time to become a beekeeper for a day during the opening of a real buzzing hive! A beekeeper will accompany the participants in the discovery of the necessary tools in beekeeping and the working with a beehive. The beekeeper will guide you in this memorable activity that will have everyone buzzing.

You’ll be able to touch, smell, and taste various hive products (wax, pollen, honey, and propolis), observe the worker bees in action, and if you’re lucky meet the one and only Her Majesty, the queen!

This activity is presented by the Caisse Desjardins du Sud‑Ouest de Montréal.

* This workshop is offered free of charge. Our free activities usually fill up very quickly, but up to 70% of participants often decide not to show up on the day of the event. Out of respect for others and to allow as many people as possible to enjoy our activities, please let us know if you can no longer attend so we can free up your spot. info@msgmusee.ca | 514‑935‑8136.
