Conclusions from the Saine Marketing survey carried out among participants in Montréal Museums Day 2008

2008-06-01 - Montréal Museums Day is a successful event that is experiencing excellent clientele development. In 2008, 43% of participants were taking part for the first time, which demonstrates that the potential for attracting new participants remains very high. From the time they left their homes to the time they returned, participants spend over five hours, on average, at the event. The level of satisfaction is high. Most important, 77% of participants expressed the intention to visit other museums during the year 2008, and participants in the 2007 edition did in fact visit museums twice as often as non-participants during the course of the year following the open-house activity.
