This 300-year-old chapel and its captivating history museum will amaze you!   • Discover Montreal's first stone Church begun in 1657, works of art and religious objects from the origins of the city, prehistoric artifacts and, especially, the life of Marguerite Bourgeoys, the courageous woman who shaped our history.

    Distinct from ordinary travellers, pilgrims set out on a path that leads them on a quest. Whether their motives are spiritual, personal or religious, pilgrims undertake a journey and overcome difficulties that change them forever.

    This exhibition will help you to follow the experience of pilgrims, introducing you to the world of pilgrimage in all its forms and to Montreal’s first chapel of pilgrimage, Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours.
