The Grande Bibliothèque and the Montréal Archives Centre, major cultural beacons of the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec, present a variety of exhibitions.
To mark the 100th anniversary of HEC Montréal, a circuit tour of the building where the École des hautes études commerciales de Montréal was founded has been designed. Several photographic archives of great interest illustrate the early evolution of this institution, a major influence in Québec’s socioeconomic expansion. The building now houses BAnQ‘s Centre d’archives de Montréal.

Ever since you were a little kid, you’ve asked your parents, your friends, and your brothers and sisters questions, a lot of questions... You’re just trying to understand who you are and the world you are living in. It’s also what philosophers do: they raise questions, think and reflect. The exhibition Penser! Une expérience philo was created specifically for you. You and your family and friends can experience the playful environment of our idea lab, speak out, listen to others and form your own opinion about a host of various topics! Think about it!
Grande Bibliothèque - Espace Jeunes
At the turn of the 1970s, women activists, writers and artists from Québec dare to detail their everyday life and become very vocal about their fears, their desires, and their aspirations. Half of the world is finally able to speak. This exhibition explores the various expressions and demands of feminism in Québec, and of creativity in women.
