About Nadine Walsh
Nadine has been on stage for over 30 years. A performer known for her strong presence and relentless research, she uses her body as much as her voice to propel her creations and retell ancient stories that reflect humanity since the dawn of time.
Each show is distinguished by a unique form that questions its relationship with the audience and with history. "With her, storytelling becomes embodied speech. " Élisabeth Haas, La Liberté newspaper, Fribourg, Switzerland.
Recipient of the Grand Prix de l'Académie Charles Cros in Paris for her CD-book Sacré chœur de Gilgamesh in 2020, she also won the Hibou d'or for the same show and the Jocelyn Bérubé prize for her entire career as a storyteller.
Nadine tells stories to resist sleep, ignorance, conformism, disenchantment and death. Because for her, storytelling is sharing a moment of eternity.
