2011 Program

Flashmob: On Sunday, May 29, 2011, 25 people envaded la promenade des Artistes du Quartier des spectacles with megaphones to celebrate 25 years of the BMMD and Montréal Museums Day !

A program for every taste

Participants can schedule their day according to their own tastes and availability. At the information and transit hub — known as the carrefour — or at the museums, in the exhibition halls, gardens, courtyards or esplanades, hundreds of free activities take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Schedule of the Day

Start: 9:00 am

  • Departure of the buses from the carrefour (promenade des Artistes)
  • Opening of most of the museums*

End: variable

  • 4:30 pm: final bus departure (with passengers)
  • 6:00 pm: closing of most of the museums*

A - Music

  • Morning: 17 ambulant musicians from Fanfare Pourpour
  • Afternoon: 4 shows at the FUNAMBUS venue
